Our 'committee' has many years
of hockey experience either as players or organizers. As we start
to age, we find that keeping up with the 35 year olds has become more
difficult with each and every year and we needed to find a slower
pace, hence the formation of the Senior Hockey World.
As we looked
throughout Canada, mainly Western Canada, we found that there was
a need to organize tournaments in the 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, and 75+
age groups. Our enthusiatic committee consists of people from all walks
of life who are willing and able to provide a tournament for the now
more senior hockey players. Our committee believes that by participating
in the various age groups, we build a long and lasting fellowship
among our players. We encourage both physical fitness and fair competition
as well as emphasize fun through our tournament play. The name "Western
Canadian Senior Hockey" was suggested to be used to incorporate
all Western Provinces as a sounding board for senior hockey. You are
encouraged to contact us so that we may include your senior tournament
in our website, www.wcsrhockey.com , or alternatively attend our tournament,
either as a team or as an individual, in Kamloops, British Columbia,
Canada.
